Strings in India to promote 'Dhaani'

Famous Pakistani pop band Strings is ready with its latest album 'Dhaani' and the singers ,Faizal and Bilal are in India this month, to promote this album. Coinciding with ongoing friendly Indo -Pak gestures, their trip seems tropical. They will be touring major cities of India and spreading the message of peace and coherence.

The album boasts of unique lyrics and compositions that have become a signature attribute of STRINGS. Another element of differentiation from the last four albums that would appeal to all, is the foot tapping concert quality of 'Dhaani'.

Track number five on the album ,'Bolo Bolo' is collaboration between the talented rock duo and Hariharan of Colonial Cousins. This album can only be described as a journey, which takes you from Ethnic Indian sounds to the world of Funk, Jazz, Rock, World music and dance, the eclectic blend being signature "Strings".

The video for 'Dhaani' is already on air and one can expect many more videos. Today Strings has moved from the college kid's image that it initially had in 1990 to a mature, hard shelled, clear-headed band.

This transformatory journey boasts of several milestones over a period of 13 years that greatly contributed in shaping up of the pop/rock industry.

Their hit singles like 'Sar kiyae yeh pahaar' and 'Duur' not only created commercial history but in doing so, also set higher standards for the industry in general to strive for.

International in nature and as ambassadors of fantastic music from Pakistan, Faizal and Bilal already are a name to reckon within England, North America, Middle East and the Sub-continent. ANI)
