''Strings came up with the idea of the simulteneous release of the music of 'Zinda' in India and Pakistan since they were themselves associated with the film's music, having been roped in by the director Sanjay Gupta for singing songs for the film, including the title track, which has scaled popularity charts in india ever since the release of the music,'' Shibani said.

''I think it’s a great accomplishment as it means taking a step forward in trying to bridge the distance between our cultures,'' she said.

According to Shibani, one of the reasons why the music of the film was a rage both in India as well as Pakistan is that ''the songs of Zinda have real good quality, thought-provoking lyrics besides having a haunting melody about them''.

Besides Shibani, the album, released in two versions (Lounge and Club), has compositions by Strings, young composer Nikhil Chinapa and the music direcor duo of Vishal-Shekhar. In fact, the song 'Yeh Hai Meri Kahani', a composition by Strings, has already become a rage among the masses.
