"We believe
the life of an album increases if
it's made into a video. Making a video
of classical song, which caters to
a niche audience, is another way of
reaching out to the youth.
It's also our attempt to make the
sarod, so far considered a classical
instrument, as popular and trendy
as the guitar,"they say.
They are upbeat about one more development
in their career. They are signed on
by the same celebrity management company
as Sania Mirza, to endorse products.
"Ours is a gradual growth, unlike
filmstars, wherein they make or break
with one film. So we are not in a
hurry,"says Amaan.
Talking about their Bollywood dreams,
Amaan and Ayaan say, "The Hindi
film industry is very competitive.
And most of the people here are our
family friends. We can never ask them
for work. It doesn't look good.
If they feel we are good enough, they'll
tell us. We are willing, but not desperate,"says
Ayaan, who has been getting a few
offers, but nothing has come upto
his expectations, while Amaan will
soon star in a Bengali film.
"Yeah, I am doing a Bengali film.
Let's see." |
