Hadiqa started off as a 'background singer',
singing in movies (namely Adnan Sami Khan's Sargam), and then
slowly moved into the pop music scene. After VJing a successful
music countdown on television she set out to make waves with
her melodious voice, and smash hit singles.

Raaz |
The first album proved to be quite
successful with a number of chart hits. The tracks were
soft, rythmic and quite traditional. The real catchy songs
from this album were Manne Di Mauj, Jaan-e-Jan,
Lang Aaja and Raaz. |
Roshni |
An absolutely fabulous collection
of songs were presented in this well-rounded album. A
far more mature sounding Hadiqa gels together the East
and West with a completely mind boggling slate of new
tracks. Songs that stood out in this album were Mehndi,
Boohey Barain, Roshni and Bol
(rendition of Tina Sani's all time hit). |
An extremely talented artist, Junaid Jamshed
(the lead vocalist of Vital Signs), has come out with numerous
numbers that have topped the charts, mailnly because of how
he successfully mixes traditional pop music, with that of
the West.

Junaid |
This album was a mix of fast and slow
songs and which quickly went to top the charts. Junaid
proved to the music world with this compilation that even
without Vital Signs he could pull out quite a few catchy
tracks. A few hits from this album were Jiya Na
Jaya, Mehendi Ki Raat and Tumhara Aur
Mera Naam. |
With both talent and a passionate voice
on his side, Khalid Waheed has come up with some great tracks
and has the potential of offering much more.

Jana |
This collection consisted of a lot
of entertaining tracks; some even seem to have been lifted
off other 'famous' English tracks! Tracks which did considerably
well were Dil Tora (adaptation of Always
by East17) and Kya Hai Love? (adaptation
of Haddaway's What Is Love ?). |
Komal might be a relatively new asset of
the Pakistani music scene, but surely a welcomed one (in the
female artistes department). Her music sounds like the typical,
'mod-squad' type - one which Channel [V] (South Asian music
channel) broadcasts 24-7.

Parbat |
The first album is quite a good example
of what Komal Rizvi is capable of. |

A few chart toppers from this album
were the title song, Parbat, Bao Jee
and Larki. |
