mela Vanaspathi according to Dikshitar school of music.
There is a janya raga by this name derived from the
4th mela Vanaspati. This is shadava sampoorna in nature
and is a vivadi raga. Svaras taken by thus raga besides
Sa and Pa are Sudha Ri^ Sudha Ga^ Sudha Ma^ Chatusruti^
Kaishiki Ni^ Minor raga with few known compositions.
It was Dikshitar who popularised this raga by composing
3 kritis.
