A vakra shadava sampoorna janya
raga derived from the 59th mela Dharmavati. The svaras
taken by this raga besides Sa and Pa are Chatusruti
Ri^ Sadharana Ga^ Prati Ma^ Kakali Ni and Chatusruti
Dha. Dha is deleted in the arohana. An ekaswara vakra
arohana raga. A minor raga with few compositions. There
is another raga by the same name derived from the 64th
mela Vachaspathi. This is a shadava sampoorna variety
deleting Ni in the arohana. According to Dikshitar school
of music^ the old name for Vachaspathi is being iven
as Bhushavali.
