It is a sampoorna raga derived from
the 60th mela Nitimati. Dha is deleted in the arohana.
This is an ubhaya vakra raga. The svaras taken by this
raga besides Sa and Pa are Chatusruti Ri^ Sadharana
Ga^ Prati Ma^ Shatsruti Dha and Kakali Ni^ A vivadi
raga. A minor popular raga with only one known composition.
This raga is prevalent in Hindusthani Music^ has resemblance
with Malhar and Madhuvanthi
