This is the old name for the 32nd
mela Ragavardhini. Raghufamni is another janya raga
derived from the 32nd mela Ragavarshini. There are two
types. The first type is audava shadava. Dha and Ni
are deleted in the arohana and Pa is deleted in the
avarohana. Dha is deleted in arohana and Ga in avarohana.
Arohana alone is vakra. Ma is the vakra svara. The notes
taken in both the varieties are Shadja^ Shatsruti Ri^
Antara Ga^ Sudha Ma^ Pa^ Sudha Dhaand Kaishiki Ni. A
vivadi raga.
