A vakra shadava sampoorna janya
raga derived from the 62nd mela Rishabhapriya. Arohn
alone is vakra. Ekasvara vakra arohana and Dha is the
vakra svara.Ga is deleted in arohana. The svaras taken
by the raga are Shadja^ Chatusruti Ri^ Antara Ga^ Prati
Ma^ Pa^ Sudha Dha and Kaishiki Ni. An apoorva raga with
only one known compositions. One of the rare ragas that
came to prominence through the compositions of Thiruvottiyur
Thyagaraja.
