An audava shadava raga derived from
the 64th mela Vachaspathi. The notes figuring in the
raga are Shadja^ Chatusruti Ri^ Prati MA^ Pa^ Chatusruti
Dha and Kaishiki Ni. A Ga varjya raga. Ni is omitted
in arohana Ri and Ni are the raga chaya svaras. Pa comes
as amsa svara. The best suited time for this raga is
night time. A raga with limited scope for alapana but
shines well in pratyahata gamakas.
