to 11th chakra Rudra and is 4th mela. The mnemonic name
is ‘Rudra-Bhu’ and the mnemonic phrase is
sa ri gu mi pa dhi ni. The notes figuring in the mela
are Sa^ Chatusruti Ri^ Antara Ga^ Prati Ma^ Pa^ Chatusruti
Dha and Kaishiki Ni. In this sarvasvara gamakas raga.
Ma and Ni are the raga chaya svaras^ Pa and Ga are the
amsa svaras and Ri^ Ma are the raga chaya svaras. Pa
and raga pratyahata gamaka mela. Its Ri^ Pa and Dha
taken as Shadja results in the raga Charukela (26) Gaurimanohari
(23) and Natakapriya (10). Its old name is Bhushavati.
In the asampoorna mela scheme the name of the 64th mela
is Bhushavati. This is an auspicious pratimadhyama raga
