A panchamantya raga derived from
the 28th mela Harikamboji. Even though a sampoorna raga
its sancharas are limited from Mandrasthayi Pa to madhyasthayi
Pa. Notes figuring in the raga are Sa^ Chatusruti Ri^
Antara Ga^ Sudha Ma^ Chatusruti Dha and Kaishiki Ni.

Closely allied raga is Jinjhoti . An apoorva raga with
limited scope for sancharas. Some of the utsavasampradya
kritis of Thyagaraja are sung in this raga.
