| 1) Download Instructions.
- Once you've purchased a digital track, go
to the My Account (Purchase History) portion
of the site and click Order No and select the album or track
you would like to download.
- Right-click on the link to the track and then
choose "Save Target As" to indicate the location
where you would like the track to be downloaded.
- If the track download is interrupted for any
reason, you can return to the My Account section of the
site to re-download your track at any time.
- All digital downloads are delivered in WMA,
Microsoft's secure audio format.
- Windows Media Player 7.1 or higher is
required to play your WMA track. To check if you have version
7.1 or higher installed on your machine, launch your player,
click on "Help" and then select "About Windows
Media Player."
2) How to play
a track?
Playing a track is simple. Just go to the
folder where you have saved your downloads and double click
on the track you want to hear. This should automatically launch
the Windows Media Player. During the first play only, Your
computer need to be connected to the Internet to obtain the
license to play the song you selected. Upon entering your
Username and Order #, a license will automatically be delivered
to your computer that allows you unlimited play of the track
you have purchased on the PC.
Note: Once you have downloaded and obtained the license for
a song, you do not need to be connected to the Internet to
play it.
If you are having problems playing your download, check the
following:
Make sure your computer meets the minimum system
requirements.
Make sure you
are opening the file using Windows Media Player software that
is compatible with Microsoft's Digital Rights technology.
If Windows Media Player is not your default music player,
you can correct the problem by right-clicking on the file
while holding down the shift key. A menu will appear. Select
the "Open with" option from the menu. A dialog box
will appear. Select "Windows Media Player" from
the list of programs, check the "Always use the selected
program to open this kind of file" checkbox. and then
click the OK button.
3) What is the WMA file format?
The Windows Media Audio format (WMA) is
the secure audio/video compression/ decompression (codec)
algorithm used by Windows Media Technologies. All tracks currently
being sold on the www.indiamusicinfo.com Digital Download
Store are offered in WMA only. A license for each WMA track
is delivered to your computer upon entering your Username
and Order Number after download which enables you to play
it on your PC, burn (3) times to a recordable compact disc (CD-R
or CD-RW), and transfer it (3) times to secure portable player compatible
with Microsoft's licenced WMA format. See Burning Tracks to

You will need Windows Media Player 7.1 or above in order to
play WMA tracks.
